The Road To Slaying God: Chapter 23

CHAPTER 23: MY TERRITORY

Depressed Zhang Yang suddenly jumped from the bed. If he really wanted to mix together all the memories then he wouldn’t have time to do other things in his life. To digest the glory of knowledge inside his head was enough to make him buy. The lazy character of Zhang Yang was no different from this agony and torment because he possessed quite troublesome knowledge inside, to say the least, he didn’t like singing ….

However, Zhang Yang decided that he had to sort out the memory of the knowledge of fighting, otherwise, he would feel like killing every time, and that’s awful.

Thinking about that, suddenly Zhang Yang felt a kind of impulse, an impulse to learn the knowledge of fighting. That thought made Zhang Yang immediately get out of the bed and cry out loud.
“F*******k, How am I supposed to learn to fight with a body too weak to even withstand a gust of wind.…?”

Zhang Yang put on a long face looking at his own weak, sunken arm with no muscle. Simultaneously, Zhang Yang was yet unable to recall the memory regarding the knowledge of fighting. A lot of mere unclear concepts such as, start being ruthless, no mercy, and the real martial arts don’t need to be artistic, it the result that counts …. And so on…

In fact, Zhang Yang himself had not found the real reason. Now, Zhang Yang’s brain was on a computer’s level, but, although there are many contents in a computer, you must search for the essential points and only then they will appear in a page, just like you need books to guide you to learn mathematical knowledge. After all, those memories weren’t Zhang Yang own.

“Zhang Yang, what are you doing?’

Liu Biao pushed the door in, and looked surprised to see the bulge of biceps, simply Zhang Yang’s empty show of strength.

“Ah … cough … nothing … its nothing, just eating, exercising ….. By the way what have you been up to?  Long time no see.”

“He he, Zhang Yang, I’ve got good news!” Liu Biao with a mysterious face.

“Tell me”. Zhang Yang had long been accustomed to Liu Biao’s nonsense expression.

“I’m a boss now, I’ve got my own territory … hahahaha …” Liu Biao hadn’t finished whispering when he already started laughing hysterically, pleased with himself.

“Wow … Congratulations, finally, ding dong, should I call you brother Biao now?

“It depends … Let’s go out and see.”

Liu Biao did not give Zhang Yang any opportunity to resist, he just pulled out the door, to ride on his motorcycle and leaving behind a pile of smoke in the air. When uncle Wang came out grumbling and swearing from the guard room, they had already dissappeared  without a trace.

Recently uncle Wang was very depressed that Liu Biao always seemed to be running around the school gate in a group of three to four and uncle Wang didn’t know what he was up to.

Naturally uncle Wand didn’t know that Liu Biao was now a boss and since he is the boss he certainly has several underlings who listen to his command as well as he loved to fool around with the students inside the school which had been his optimum goal.

……………

“This is your territory??”

Zhang Yang’s mouth was wide open to see a small, narrow alley which was approximately about 200 meters long and width just enough for a single car. Of course, it was impossible for a car to enter because there were also some pedestrians. Even if a single person walked by the alley there would be a traffic jam.

The entrance to the alley was very busy, mostly shoes cleaning, selling fruits and vegetables and on the right side of the alley there was a bookstore, less than ten square meters with some pirated internet novels.

“Shh…”  Liu Biao saw Zhang Yang about to speak so he suddenly strained Zhang Yang to hush.

“What’s the matter?”

“This alley is not my territory, my territory is the entrance of the alley. Every day I pay attention to all kinds of people and if I meet any strange or suspicious person then my job is to immediately make a call to inform others….”

It took forever for Zhang Yang to understand what Liu Biao meant, originally, the alley went in about two hundred meters and had an underground casino. And Liu Biao was responsible for monitoring the entrance, he was to report immediately if he finds any suspicious person around or a police car. The alley was about two hundred meters so as long as they’re informed, the underground casino’s members had enough time to escape.

And simultaneously, Zhang Yang was also clear that this was not an easy job. He required to work for at least fifteen hours or more every day, more importantly, he must remember every one inside the alley including more than hundred people living in the alley. Simply said, he should be familiar with everyone from the alley and if he encountered any unfamiliar face then he needed to notify inside.

“Song Tao, come here!’ Liu Biao signaled with his hand and a guy immediately sprang out from the bookstore.

“Brother Biao, you’re so early!” That Song Tao guy gave an ingratiating smile to flatter Liu Biao.

“Hmm, you know Zhang Yang, my younger brother (# addressing someone younger than oneself).”

“Oh … Yang brother… How do you do?” Song Tao bowed.

“Cough … Brother Tao … How do you do?” Zhang Yang was suddenly dumbfounded as this emaciated guy grasped to shake his hands, it felt like his hand was basically holding a bone.

“You see today, my young brother has come and I want to treat him dinner. So, will you go to that next door and get a stir-fried lunch box, count on me!” Liu Biao waved his hand.

“Brother Biao, I have been watching for five hours, and my eyes are getting blurry, hu hu …. ….”

“Don’t be fussy, I , brother Biao will not treat you unfairly.”

Liu Biao , as if he was brushing away a chicken, drove Song Tao to the bookstore. The bookstore was just like a natural surveillance, not only you can take shelter from wind and rain, but also a place to remain undercover and hide your traces …..

Zhang Yang glanced at the poor “skeleton” followed by Liu Biao, into the alley to a small restaurant and order a spicy hot pot of peanuts with a few bottles of beer. Both Zhang Yang and Liu Biao drank up.

“Zhang Yang, Dude! It’s nice to get along with you, haha! Just after we met Boss Xiao, someone contacted me and arranged this alley for me and also allowed me to have five younger brothers (underlings). That guy just now, he follows me … …” Liu Biao with a proud smile and high spirit, drank the beer from the bottle.

“Not bad, not bad.” Zhang Yang with mouthful of food, his face looked uninterested. The matter was mysterious but still, he didn’t want to blend into those matters. And now, Liu Biao was close enough to board Xiao’s journey afterwards which is really different from the past where he used to fool around the school’s territory.

“Can you guess how much do I earn in a day now?” Liu Biao said in a mysterious way seeing Zhang Yang uninterested.
